Spring Tree Walk!

Days are getting longer and spring is starting to emerge around us. Let’s learn about the new spring growth and identify trees by their new leaves.

Emily, a Charlottesville Area Tree Steward, will share easy tips to help you remember their identification.

This is a moderate hike over woodland trails.

If you are already a tree enthusiast, please bring your favorite tree ID book, hand lens, and/or binoculars as aids. Also, remember to dress for comfort as we will not  be walking very fast, wear hiking boots or sneakers, and bring water, if  necessary.
