About the event
In this workshop we will use guided meditation and sound therapy to re-experience our past selves and re-express our future selves.
Atieno Bird is a Certified Psychodramatist and Karianne Michelle is a yogic musician. Together they provide a unique opportunity to settle, adjust focus, even just for a moment, and root into deep values and talents.
The "Past and Future Selves" workshop offers participants a unique and transformative experience that transcends traditional goal-setting and self-reflection methods. Using Psychodramatic structures and guided meditations supported by singing bowls, Atieno Bird, Certified Psychodramatist, and Karianne Michelle, yogic musician, provide a unique opportunity to refocus on your direction and goals, rooted in your values and talents.
Discover the imprints that shaped your mindset from birth to the present, the valuable resources that have supported your journey, the gifts in your regrets, and the desires that want to unfold for your future. Inside the intentions of peace, clarity, grace, and ease, you will author your own past and future and have the option to integrate your discoveries and choose next steps and commitments.
This is a ceremony outside of normal time, where you can be liberated from self saboteurs and empowered to set authentic, meaningful life goals that align with your soul's purpose. The blend of Psychodrama and sound therapy allows a profound perspective on your life and ambitions to emerge and invites you to prioritize what truly matters, so you can live out the rest of your life with more intention and fulfillment.
This event will take place inside the barn adjacent to the cemetery. The barn is an indoor space sheltered from the elements but it is not climate controlled. Please dress comfortably and for the weather and bring ample drinking water. This practice will take place on the ground. We ask that if you are able, please bring a pen and journal, and a yoga mat and blanket (a few will be available onsite for those who are unable to bring their own). In addition we will have several chairs available for those who prefer a chair meditation practice.
Additional details will be provided over email. We hope to see you there!
