Join us for a screening of Being Mortal, a thought-provoking look at end-of-life care. Based on the popular book by the same title by physician Atul Gawande, Being Mortal explores how industrialization has taken over end-of-life care. The film thoughtfully and heartfully examines what we do well and where we could stand to improve our care of those of us nearing the end of life. The film will be followed by a group discussion. Snacks provided!
This event is co-hosted by Aging Together, Culpeper County Library, Hospice of the Piedmont, Woven Roots Collective, and Panorama Natural Burial.
Doors open at 10am, the film will begin at 10:30am.
