Film Screening: Alternate Endings

“Alternate Endings: Six New Ways to Die in America” is a documentary film that highlights six Americans’ end-of-life plans, including a living wake, a celebration of life, burial in a coral reef, burial with a space flight, natural/green burial, and medical aid in dying. In witnessing the thought and care that goes into making some of these less mainstream end-of-life plans, we will explore and contemplate together our own end-of-life wishes and plans with creativity and thoughtfulness. After the film screening, there will be a discussion with local death doulas and representatives from Panorama Natural Burial in which we will share inspiration and ideas around celebrating and honoring the end of life. Free and open to all.
