Autumn Equinox Potluck

**Update 9/23: We regretfully are making the late-breaking decision to postpone this event. The rains and winds are picking up in Earlysville and while covered the barn is hardly weather proof. Thank you for your patience as we've navigated this tricky decision. Please plan to join us next Saturday, September 30 as we recreate this equinox celebration under the full moon.

*Update 9/22: With storms brewing over the Atlantic, the equinox is slated to be a rather wet one. In the  case of rain, we will plan to convene in the event barn adjacent to the  burial ground. Dress for the temperature. We will evaluate midday  tomorrow and make any necessary adjustments based on the weather. On the *hopefully* off chance that rains are heavy, strong storms move through, or there is a risk of flooding or other unsafe conditions, we  will - with regret - choose to call off the event. But our fingers and  toes are crossed that all will proceed as planned!

We invite you to join us in honoring the changing of the seasons.

The sun is setting earlier and earlier. The morning dew is lingering later and later into the day. The trees are beginning their transition into dormancy. Summering birds are making their way on and wintering birds are making their way in. A new spectrum of colors, textures, and sounds graces our senses.

We would be delighted if you would join us in sharing a meal to mark the first day of the coming season. Local musician Cari Shipp will accompany on the flute. All ages welcome. Bring a dish to share. Looking forward to seeing you there!
